Your guests want to leave feeling different. Few experiences deliver that like three minutes of deep cold.
The Australian day spa guest has changed. They still love a long massage and a beautiful facial — but they're also curious, informed and looking for experiences that feel new. They've heard about cold therapy from friends, from wellness podcasts, from their favourite creators. And increasingly, they want to try it somewhere that feels safe, calm and beautifully run.
That somewhere could be your spa.
Here's why day spa owners are choosing KRYO KUBE to bring whole-body cryotherapy onto their menus.
Designed to belong in a calm space
A spa is built on atmosphere: soft light, quiet rooms, nothing jarring. The equipment has to respect that.
The KRYO KUBE KUB was designed with exactly these spaces in mind. Finished in White Pearl, it sits gracefully beside your treatment rooms rather than looking like it wandered in from a sports lab. Integrated LED lighting, music and fan control through the Kryo Kontroller tablet let you set the mood for every guest — energising and bright, or slow and serene.
Compact enough for a real spa floor plan
Space is precious in a day spa. The KUB is the most compact commercial chamber in the KRYO KUBE range:
Main body: 900 × 800 mm
Height: 2,600 mm
Front glass: 500 mm wide × 2,100 mm high
It fits comfortably in a dedicated cold room, a converted treatment room, or a wellness corner beside your relaxation lounge.
Nitrogen-free: clean, calm and simple
KRYO KUBE chambers are 100% electric. There's no nitrogen, no gas deliveries and no tanks to store. Your team simply switches the session on.
For a spa, that's about more than convenience. It means nothing clanking through reception, nothing to schedule around guest bookings, and nothing that feels out of place in a tranquil environment.
A plug, not a project
The KUB runs on a standard Australian 10-amp single-phase outlet. No three-phase upgrade, no plumbing and no specialist fit-out. For most spas that means installation is quick and your treatment rooms don't need to close for a renovation.
At a 400 W rated draw, the KUB uses around 9.6 kWh a day even running flat out around the clock — roughly $2.90 a day at an indicative AUD $0.30/kWh, and less in practice when idle with the fan low or off.
A ritual guests remember — and rebook
Cold therapy works beautifully as part of a curated journey:
The Cold Reset — a quick cryotherapy session as a stand-alone express treatment
Cold & Calm — cryotherapy followed by a relaxation massage
The Glow Ritual — cryotherapy before a facial for that fresh, awake feeling
Cryolymphatic pairing — cold followed by lymphatic drainage massage, one of the fastest-growing wellness rituals (read our guide)
Sessions are just two to three minutes, so cryotherapy slots into packages without lengthening appointment times — and it gives guests a memorable, shareable moment to talk about.
Sustainability guests can see
Today's spa guest cares about how things are made and run. KRYO KUBE gives you a story worth telling:
Low power draw and energy efficiency built into the design from day one
Nitrogen-free operation — no gas supply chain
Reusable gloves and masks rather than single-use consumables
Natural cork flooring inside the chamber
It's a premium experience that fits naturally alongside clean beauty and eco-conscious spa values.
